Stops Healthcare Cuts

Washington is pulling healthcare dollars out of San Diego and our local hospitals and clinics are already being forced to cut staff in order to make ends meet. And patients suffer as a result.

Measure B will push back these devastating cuts before it's too late. Without Measure B, hospitals and clinics across San Diego County will face more layoffs, care disruptions, and longer wait times. On top of longer 911 response times.

The 2025 Big Beautiful Bill and its steep cuts means more than 150,000 San Diegans could lose their insurance or food assistance. That means hospitals will need to foot the bill for emergency care and to pay for that extra cost, they will need to reduce staff. 

A YES vote on Measure B would stop this from happening. Yes on B ensures our hospitals can continue to care for our community and healthcare workers can stay on the job. 

If we do not pass Measure B:

• Families and kids will not be able to have routine doctor appointments or preventative care 

• Seniors will lose in-home care

• More people will wait until things are at their worse and crowd ERs
  

We can’t control what Washington cuts, but we can control whether San Diego County is protected from the worst.
