STATEMENT: Yes on B Campaign Statement on Strong Initial Results
SAN DIEGO, CA—Today, the Yes on B campaign issued the following statement as Measure B made a strong showing in early returns with roughly 59% of the vote counted.
“We are energized by Measure B’s early lead and strong momentum from Election Day voters. There are still many votes left to count, but the message is clear: San Diego County voters want to protect local healthcare, support frontline workers, clean up toxic sewage, stop wildfire threats, and ensure our kids have safe, affordable childcare. These early returns show that when Washington and Sacramento step back, San Diego steps up. We have full confidence in our election workers, and we are confident that when every ballot is tallied, San Diego will have chosen a safer, healthier future.”
Measure B is a citizen-led initiative on the November 2026 ballot designed to protect local healthcare coverage, public health programs, 911 emergency response, public safety, and safe, affordable childcare in San Diego County.
